Getting to Campus
Peoria Charter
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's campus is located around 3 hours south of Chicago. Therefore, most students would opt to take the Peoria Charter bus service that will take you from O'Hare International Airport right into the heart of campus. There are 5 places on campus where Peoria Charter stops: Illinois Terminal, Altgeld Hall, Armory, ISR and Orchard Downs.
Public Transport in Urbana-Champaign

Getting around Urbana-Champaign is actually pretty simple. There is an extensive bus system that will take you wherever you will ever need to go. And the best part is, ITS FREE! Outside of campus, you will only have to show your Student ID and you will not be required to pay a fee. On campus, you don't even have to show your Student ID! You can just get on board and go towards your destination.
